Today it all begins. The adventures of a cat named Monkey, (also known as Kitty) and me.
I've given my landlord written notice that I am moving out of my beloved bachelor apartment. In 2 months, we will officially be homeless.
I know that some of you will think I'm nuts, and that's OK. Others will do their best to try to support my 'dreams' and perhaps a few of you will secretly be just a little envious.
Why? Who cares... So you are moving? You will find a new place for you and Kitty to live and life will remain status quo... Won't it?
Ummmm, no. That's not the plan.
Actually, I'm going to be taking the Kitty & Me show on the road. Yes, literally. I'm planning on driving all,over the U.S and Canada, with my little buddy. "Have Car - Will Travel", I always say.
Luckily Monkey is quite used to car, and had been on a couple of extra long drives, but none quite like what I've got in mind!
You see, it's been a dream of mine, since I was a teenager, to travel the highways and byways discovering pretty little towns, quiet villages and maybe a big city or two. I want to visit famous landmarks and hidden gems.
Kitty and I are going on an adventure.
